Time for another Tech Edit Tuesday tip. I'm going to continue on with my love affair with Google Suite.
So one of the great tools available to anyone with a Google account is Google Forms. The two things that I highly recommend using Google Forms for are tester call sign-ups and feedback forms.
The benefits:
Forms are easy to set up.
Information can be viewed on the form directly or in a Sheets view that can be stored on your Google Drive (which is my preferred reviewing method).
The response limits to Google Forms are very high and will be able to see them all. For example: if you receive 80 responses to a tester call, you will see all 80 responses, rather than being cut off and only being able to see the first 30 or so.
You can copy previous forms (tester calls or feedback forms) and tweak them to the new pattern - pattern name, sizes, etc. This saves you time and effort, and also allows for your forms to be consistent.
If you're unsure about using Google Forms, don't hesitate to reach out, I'd be happy to help you sort it out!
