I have completed the Tech Editor Hub Crochet Tech Editing course, as well as Emily of FiatFiber’s “Learn How to Become a Tech Editor” course. I started with some close friends, and then “went public” with the services in October of 2020.

I have a keen eye for attention to detail and consistency. I enjoy numbers. I am an advanced-intermediate crocheter and an intermediate Tunisian crocheter, so I am familiar with a plethora of skills within both disciplines. I make an effort to make sure that every pattern is as clear as it can be, to allow each maker the best opportunity to understand the pattern.

We will work together on setting up a style sheet for you, so that your “voice” is clear through the pattern, in just the way you want it. There are so many ways to write the same thing – Sc, SC, sc, Sc1, SC1, sc1, Sc 1, SC 1, sc 1. A style sheet allows me to know what is your preference, and keep everything consistent. You received a copy of your style sheet to reference when writing your future patterns so that you know you’re writing in a consistent fashion and all of your patterns match.

I help spread the word of testing calls through both my Instagram stories and my newsletter. I share any WIP photo that your testers post to help not only promote your pattern but promote their amazing work. On the day of publication, I celebrate you and your hard work! I celebrate in my Instagram stories, on my grid and in the next newsletter to go out. Publishing a pattern is hard – you’re putting a bit of yourself out there for the world to see. You deserve for your hard work to be celebrated!
