Alright y’all, I know I talked about it last week. I just want to remind you that the due date for submissions is this Wednesday. You can read about it on their blog here! I highly encourage checking out the blog for all of the necessary details about it! The deadline for submissions is TOMORROW – Wednesday, January 27, 2021!

Here is the original post from last week in case anyone missed it.

Are you a crochet designer or considering trying out the design world? WeCrochet is having a submission call for their 2021 Winter magazine! This is an amazing time to up your exposure or to try out designing. WeCrochet will provide yarn support for the pattern for you to work it up. They will stitch up the sample, take care of tech editing, and testing the product. When it’s all said and done, they will provide you with the photos for marketing!

While they will handle tech editing on their side for the final product, I am more than happy to help you with trying to work through thoughts for an idea and a pattern to present to them. You are creative beyond measure! I believe in you and that you can knock this out! This is a chance to have your pattern posted in a national yarn publication! We’re talking bucket list material here, people!  What is the worst that they will say? No. Okay, well then you accomplished 2 things – you stepped out of your comfort zone to do something for your bucket list, and you also got an idea on paper that you can work through at your leisure without as much stress. Why not try it?!?

You can read about it on their blog here! I highly encourage checking out the blog for all of the nitty-gritty details about it! The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, January 27, 2021 – a week from this Wednesday.
Huge CONGRATULATIONS to Kathleen for releasing her Blanket Scarf! This scarf is an amazing make that is full of rotating, simple textures, and comes in three sizes – blanket scarf (pictured), standard scarf, and blanket. My favorite part though? Besides being large and comfy, she takes care of the color planning for you! I can’t be the only person who struggles with fades and planning the colors appropriately. The best news?!? Kathleen has released this pattern free on her blog! Punch the button below to go check it out!

I received the date for my treatment this last week. I will officially not be taking on any new jobs from Tuesday, February 9th through Sunday, February 21st. Any additional time out of the office will be pending how I am feeling after treatment, so I beg your understanding and grace through that period of time.

If you want to have any patterns checked prior to my time out of the office, please make sure to reach out as soon as possible – email, DM, whatever – so that we can get you on the calendar. Any arrangements that have been made up to the point will stand as previously agreed upon.
